Storytime With Harry – The London Experience

I had a terrific time in London being a representative for Odds Shark while supplying some wonderful material, and working. On Thursday nightI met with Joe Osborne, Andrew Avery, also known asNinja, Craig along with Alec in the resort and within an hour or two were off to the Standard Liege/Arsenal football game.
It wasnt really simple to enter a pub near Arsenals stadium, although we tried to grab a drink at a bar nearby. We found out that first, the bouncers had to??ensure you had a ticket to the game and after that if your chairs had been in the area you werent allowed in the bar. WOW!! ?? Even though we capable to enter, according to the Arsenal bouncers, we chose to get into the stadium and have a beverage.
The stadium was beautiful, and we had a drink but then when the match began, we realized the English do things that abit different than in the USA and Canada. Alcohol wasnt permitted to be absorbed during the game, but at halftime in the lounges around the stadium actually gave out free beer. Yes, you heard me they gave free tap beer that we took advantage of out!?? But the second half began beer wasnt allowed again to be drunk in the stadium and sales . Arsenal 4-0 won the match and that they also scored three??in the first 25 minutes. This was something we did not anticipate although we had a fun time.
The following day we did a Friday Football variant of Guys&Bets where Joe and myself gave out our locks which just happened to win (always a good thing) while I was indulged in 48-degree temperatures just cause I felt like this.
Later that afternoon we took the metro into Oxford Circus which is a beautiful area of London where Big Ben and the jumbo Ferris wheel is, and a kids carousel at which Joe and I chose to be children at heart and also rode it just for the hell of it. We return to the resort where I think the major league baseball match so that we could observe the playoffs since it wasnt on at any given bar were streamed by us, nor was college or pro soccer — just to allow you to know.
On Saturday, we slid into a parlor where you can wager the NFL, horses, soccer along with the lotto. Apparently although I attempted to bet a parlay the ticket writers had never heard that phrase before and called it an accumulator. But they still couldnt get it right so for the whole trip I moved wagerless (what were the odds on this ).
Poor Ninja could not get blessed with his football plays our video manufacturer, Craig, was on fire along with his soccer plays. Following that, as West Ham and Crystal Palace were playing with later in the day we went to a pub to interview West Ham United fans. We met some characters that were pleasant folks and fans.
We came with a superfan named Perry who knew. There were a couple more fans we all chatted and drank , but a lady who was also a superfan created the men day and mine with her stories that are gambling that are spectacular.
This womans name is Ruth and she had been a riot, to say the least. She had been traveled 6 hours and a season ticket holder for West Ham roundtrip to see their home matches. She proceeded to inform me she likes to wager on blackjack blackjack, the ponies, and her fantasy soccer and hockey leagues. I asked her when she had a bookie and shed made a face at me as though I asked her dumbest question ever.
Her response wasnaturally I do and that my nickname isTwat??along with his or her isTinkerbell because all of us know bookies dont go by their given names, that is gambling 101. Yesand also to emphasise her nickname for him was reallyTwat. Her and I had a couple of pints and a ton of laughs — if you happen to see thisTinkerbell I only want to say thanks for a wonderful afternoon.
We then went into the scene where we did another show where Joe and I continued to give more winners out and 3-1 underdog Crystal Palace upset West Ham. Following the match, we needed to stop at the West Ham bar, Carpenters Arms for one more pint and hang on with all the Hammer fans that are diehard. We were starving at this stage and no place has been available so consider it or even in London on a Saturday night we settled at midnight for Dominos pizza. That is kind of sad, but it had been literally our sole choice and it really hit on the place.
Afterward the culmination of our trip happened as we traveled into Tottenham Stadium to do a different Guys&Bets show before watching the Chicago Bears (Monsters of the Midway)??take on the (Silver and Black)??Oakland Raiders.
Joe and I gave the under in the match which we believed we had until the Bears gave up a driveway, but we had a blast otherwise and still ended up moving a joint ATS for the trip.
The fans at the match were in aid of their teams since there were outfits. I also wish to give a shoutout to a lover of my Against All Odds podcast, a guy by the name of Jazz who understood me (somehow??) , called out my name and asked for a picture that was very cool. Jazz gave us an interview where he bet with his spirit (as most Bears fans do) rather than his head and lost money in an adjusted -9.5 lineup on Chicago.
We were fortunate to visit a few of the more entertaining games of the day in an atmosphere and it was a complete joy to share this adventure together with Joe, Alec, Craig, along with Ninja.
